The first of the 18 low-floor trams for Würzburg arrived in the city on the Main just in time for the festive season.
The vehicle with the number 215 was transported from Leipzig to Würzburg on a low-loader and then put on the rails at Heuchelberg on the night of 17 to 18 December 2024.
The 5-car low-floor vehicles are specially designed for the city of Würzburg: the 36-metre-long and 2.40-metre-wide trains are ultra-modern and have a bright and friendly interior, with particular attention paid to the requirements of passengers with limited mobility.
